As a member of Ascendance Rising, the Leadership and Management will not be asking much of you except to follow the Rules and Guidlines set out here.
Failure to abide by these could end up with you being removed from the corporation.
The following are the simple rules which ALL members will adhere to:
Do Not be a dick
Do Not hunt or attack Imperium members
Delve
Fountain
Querious
Period Basis
Here is a map for clarification Coalition Sov Map the GOLD area should be avoided.
Doing so will vastly decrease your chances of crossing paths with our friends.
The following are guides on how we would like you to conduct yourself in certain situations.
They are not set rules, and as such should be refered to as a “default” way to do things.
NPSI Fleets are run by people wanting to form a fleet of like minded folk who might not be in the same corporation and head out to shoot a certain target.
Once in a fleet, everyone will be marked with a purple tag which overrides any other standing colours you may have already set.
The fleets are an excellent way to suppliment your activity levels in game and afford you the chance to fly with other players and explore different play styles.
Ascendance Rising Leadership is happy for its members to join NPSI fleets and enjoy what they offer, but you must
When engaged in solo activities that involve None Player Characters (NPC) like missions, anomalies or event sites; normal Eve Online rules apply.
If you encounter a fellow AR member doing these, please remember RULE #1 and stay out of the way unless invited to join in.
If the activity is arranged and a fleet has been formed by a Fleet Commander, the rules of the fleet set by the FC will apply.
These rules will have to be clear and agreed upon by all. Best way to ensure this is to have a reminder/bullet point notice in the Fleet MOTD which the FC can set with specific requirements for all members of the fleet.
If no specific rules are highlighted, these default guidelines can be used instead:
Follow the FC’s instructions
– Normally the FC will be the person who has organised the mission and therefore will be in control of how the mission should be completed.
If you have to go Away From Keyboard (AFK), ask the FC if is ok to dock up and remain in fleet or should you drop out.
– Many FC’s will be happy for you to still be gaining Loyalty Points (LP), Standings or rewards by being in the fleet.
Just check to make sure though.
Loot - Unless required for a mission objective is free to be collected by anyone in the fleet.
– Bookmarks can be made to assist looters/salvagers.
– All items collected and isk generated from looting remains with the character looting.
– This is a good source of income for a new character who may not have the skills in combat.
*This only applies to PVE fleets. If you are on a roaming PVP fleet, all loot should be handed/contracted to the FC to go towards replacement ships
In combination with your personal standings where you can mark characters and whole corporations with a colour tag, Ascendance Rising also highlights certain players in the following manner:
+10.0 DARK BLUE
These are close friends and SHOULD NOT attack you.
Still be wary of them as we can not be held accountable for their actions.
+5.0 LIGHT BLUE - THESE CHARACTERS MAY ATTACK YOU!
Please be aware that we have marked certain corporations within The Imperium (Goonswarm, The Initiative, Dracarys etc) as people you should not attack as we have close ties with them through ASCENDANCE. They will likely not have any standing towards Ascendance Rising and will see you as just another target if you are anywhere other than High Securtiy Space.
Never assume that they are mutual friends when you see them in local chat
-5.0 ORANGE
Characters marked with Orange tags have been identified as suspected of doing harm to us. Usually gankers, theives or scouts for the bad guys.
-10.0 RED
We know they have done something wrong and we want you to stay clear of them at all costs.
We also mark those we do not wish to join Ascendance Rising with this colour for your protection.
AWOXing happens rarely and we try to protect you and your ships from it happening by keeping bad elements out of the corp.
(tldr; Awox was a person who joined corps and killed his corpmates over and over again before they caught on and could kick him. He repeatedly did this and thus the term AWOX was defined)
Even with these colours to identify standings towards others, please remember that at any point you could be attacked and you should be on guard as soon as you undock.
If you are mining on the Ascendance Holding moons in Asanot, please remember that they are for all of the corp to enjoy. Having your own mining fleet of a booster and any more than 2 barges will be considered as excessive.
Please restrict yourself to a max of 3 characters for yourself to ensure you are not scooping the available ore before your fellow corp mates have a chance.
Remember that Ascendance Rising is a new player friendly corporation and solo players with just a Venture will not be able to compete with older players with multiple accounts.
Karmafleet University have opened their moons to us, but the same rules apply. Do not land on their moons with excessive amounts (see above for definition of excessive) of barges mining all of the ore for yourselves.
If any member of KFU contact you regarding your activities around their structures, please be courteous and respect them if they ask you to stop mining their moons.
KFU leadership are in close contact with Ascendance Rising leadership and we will be updated on any issues.
We do welcome all to have alts in Ascendance Rising to aid and assist the newer players.
Due to a history of GSF members turning the Asanot moons into a lazy Locust fleet, we have had to impliment the following:
When you wish to help out the mining fleets with Orca boosts, we request that you refrain from using multiple min/maxed exhumers and taking vast amounts of the moon ore for yourself. To help limit your intake of Moon Ore, Ascendance leadership have set a “One Orca, one Exhumer” rule. This means you can still get a small income to cover the costs of fuel and make your time boosting worth it.
This applies only to Moon Mining, normal asteroid belt mining is fair game and you can use as many alts as you like.
Failure to adhere to this rule will result in a GSF forum and ingame mail being issued as a warning. If you choose to ignore the warning, a tax of 50% of the ISK value of the ore you have mined from the Asanot moons following the warning will be applied.
Members of Ascendance that do not pay the tax will be reported to Internal Affairs and delt with as required. Those that are from the other GSF corps and we have no control of, we will just remove the characters from AR and blacklist.
If you require R4 moon ore, there are more than enough resources in Delve/Quereous and Period Basis that you can strip mine to your hearts desire.
If there are any issues with the rules or guidance given here, contact any of the Ascendance Rising staff.
Failing to comply with the rules will result in immediate removal from corp.
Repeated issues from ignoring the guidance will result in the same punishment.
